Introduction to Kigh Woo 
 
Allow me to introduce you to Kigh Woo (born1985), a young artist born in the river town of Wuhan, China. He studied painting at an early age and is a talented individual who embarked on a creative journey in 2004 under the cultivation of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, graduating with a Ph.D. in Art Museum Education. Kigh honed his artistic skills and emerged as a graduate with immense potential.  The painting style of Kigh is in the lineage of Wu Guanzhong, inspired by the forms of Western contemporary painting and the colour techniques of oil painting, while simultaneously injecting the spirit of traditional Chinese culture and art. In his striking images, Kigh creates new pictorial spaces of richly variegated colors, vigorous brushwork, and a sense of rhythm and light.
 
Intriguingly, Kigh chose to channel his artistic prowess into the realm of drama, where he found a unique outlet for his talents.
